"A portrait of my child, once a week, every week, in 2013."

Sofia: The snow is here and it is most definitely sticking!  Today we took you out to the Children's Farm in Orland Park, where we were quickly reminded that they were closed for the winter.  Luckily your Papa and I were able to get a few snaps in before we got yelled at.  How could they possibly kick out a little girl and her sled? ;)

p.s. we're all good and safe here from the hurricane. the weather has been nuts though! how's the knitting coming along? are you going to try to make the easy baby blanket?

    1. so glad to hear - I was thinking of you all. knitting is still just a thought in my mind, i've been researching different fabrics and trying to figure out the "gear" i need, but i'm really hoping this is something i can knock out in the next few months. i'm staying hopeful x

  6. This is so surreal. It's as hot as hot can be over in Malaysia. And the impending Chinese new year always holds the promise of a real scorcher!
