scenes from the morning

This morning, I woke before anyone in the house and made a simple batch of scones with jam.

With sticky fingers and a cup of warm coffee, it was the perfect start to the week.

Happy Monday to all of you!

(Thanks for giving me the tasty idea, Gaby!)
